How it works

Power factor is the ratio between kW (actual load power) and kVA (apparent load power). A low power factor means inefficiency, costing you money. By installing suitably sized switched capacitors, we bring your power factor closer to 1 (around 0.98), which:

It is a measure of how effectively the current is being converted into useful work output and more particularly is a good indicator of the effect of the load current on the efficiency of the supply system.
