In 2017 E-Power Technologies completed Langeberg Mall : 1.35MW Peak Rooftop solar installation.
Langeberg Mall features 4106 solar panels installed over 3 different roofs, for a total DC power rating of 1354.98kW peak. The clean DC energy produced by the solar panels are then inverted to AC energy by means of 20 x ABB TRIO 50kVA inverters, which is then fed into the mall’s electrical grid to help reduce the energy demand of the mall on the grid. The project was completed in under 3 months.
